About Us

The podcast started in 2012 as a way for three friends to stay in touch as they relocated to different cities across America. Nearly a decade later, the show continues as an excuse to banter, laugh, learn, and argue about the latest developments in cinema.

MICHAEL NEELSEN

Michael is an award-winning filmmaker living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended film school in Los Angeles, California, and released his first feature-length documentary, Last Day at Lambeau, in 2012. He is co-founder of StoryFirst Media, a branded storytelling firm, and is currently in development on two new feature documentaries. You can follow him on Letterboxd and Twitter.

JOE PUDAS

Joe is a writer residing in the Madison area. He studied journalism at UW–Madison and earned a screenwriting MFA at UT–Austin. In Los Angeles, he was a screenwriter for a film production company. A Wisconsinite at heart (with the beer gut to prove it!), he returned to the midwest to co-write a documentary limited series. You can follow this proud dog dad on Letterboxd.

JARED GORES

Jared is a writer and producer from southeastern Wisconsin currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he majored in radio/tv/film and served as a film critic for The Badger Herald. He is currently co-producing two documentary projects.
